If Arc feels familiar, that is because its functionality is similar to that of Steam, Origin or other digital distribution clients. It lets you purchase games from an online store and keep track of them in a personal library. The games you buy are bound to your account and you can download and install them as often as you want, without any restrictions. Also, the software lets you interact with an online community.

The software is absolutely free and you can install it on your computer in under a minute. It is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it provides support for both 32 and 64-bit variants. Also, the software doesn't have any special requirements.

You can access several sections on the user interface, via navigation tabs, located on the left side. Besides the home page, where you can find the latest news and other information, you can also view the games on offer, a forum, a dedicated news section, your payment details and, of course, your games library.

Buying and installing a game is quite simple. When you click a game's entry, the software will display various details about that title on a separate page, along with an option for buying the game. You can also find free-to-play games, in which case, you can proceed straight to the installation phase, which doesn't involve anything more than specifying a destination folder.

Purchased games are displayed as tiles in a library section. Just like on the store page, you can click a game to view all sorts of details about it and find an option for installing or launching the game.

If you are looking for a new digital distribution platform for video games, Arc is worth having a look at.

Pros

You can find and buy various games. The software lets you keep track of your purchases in a personal library. Buying and installing a game is a straightforward process.

Cons

The games offer is a bit limited. Also, the software is quite slow.
